Do you want it? I personally feel like this is a strange, survival breaking, thing. You have storage boxes to keep your stuff secure.

Yeah. It's more realistic to have it so you can get the loot. Otherwise you are just gonna camp the persons body till they come back for the loot. The way you have it is probably best for now. It takes maybe 5 minutes to get anywhere on the map, so it should be okay at 0 seconds.
The way you have it now is fine.

I say leave it like it is. I'm not even sure why a Rust introduced this feature, seems silly.

The only thing I can think of is for those people who get killed by random wood piles/ore boulders. In an effort to allow them to get their stuff back securely. But even then, its a real life thing. Unless you have the option of locking and unlocking your backpack. If they made it so you could lock your backpack, and not even you could open it, without unlocking it, then it could make a little sense.
